Fuifui Moimoi

A fantastic role model for children of all ages to meet, learn some skills from and of course get to witness the Hakka in their school!

Tongan born Fuifui, 35, Now plays English club rugby having ended a successful eleven-year stint in the NRL with Parramatta.He made 201 club appearances and scored one of his 22 tries in the club’s 2009 grand final defeat at the hands of Melbourne Storm.

He represented his native Tonga in the 2013 World Cup in England, playing in all three games, including the sell-out match against Cook Islands at Leigh Sports Village.

Fuifui continues the tradition of Tongan players at Leigh started by the popular Lee Hansen and Tau Liku, who both still live in the town, in the 1990s.Tau’s son Elliot is a regular member of the successful Leigh Reserves side while Lee’s son Jack joins the Reserves squad for 2015.
