Bio
How I started:
I started playing Rugby when I was six years old, my brother played and I used to go along and watch. The coach noticed that I was in attendance regularly and mentioned a team for children, I went along and have love dit ever since!
My Greatest Achievement:
My greatest achievement is playing for the England U20’s team. I was selected for the regional team, and from there I was invited to trials for England. There was a lot of people there, and it was an all-day. I had expected there to be a lot of people, and for it to be extremely hard work as I knew we were going to be tested on our skills and fitness on the day.
My Greatest Challenge:
My greatest challenge has been going through injuries. Specifically breaking my leg and collarbone within the same year. I broke my leg in February of 2012, while I was playing as I was tackled from behind! I was in recovery for around six months, and I was in a cast for eight weeks. It consisted of lots of rehab, strengthening, getting fitness back up, and learning to walk again. And then two weeks after my recovery from a broken leg I ended up breaking my collarbone, which I say is the most pain I have ever been in!
My Hobbies:
Outside of Rugby I enjoy watching lots of sports, live and on TV. I love food and coffee, being outdoors going for walks, seeing my friends and family when I have time, and I also really enjoy my job as an armed police officer too!
My Future Aspirations:
In the future I want to be enjoying my game, playing the best Rugby I can, and doing well with my club! We’re building up at the moment, and I can’t wait to grow with the club and see us in a great place hopefully soon!
