Bio
How I Started:
I started playing Netball when I was 10 years old. Until I was 18 I was doing many sports and particularly strong at medal distance athletics and Netball. As a junior I progressed up the England pathway playing for my county, region, and then England U17. My highlight as a junior was going on tour to Australia and New Zealand where I received my first Junior International Cap.
My Greatest Achievement:
My greatest achievement was winning the Netball Superleague in 2021, this was my debut season and was straight off a six month rehab from a stress fracture! The season started with no crowds due to the COVID pandemic, so playing in the Grand Final at the Copperbox Arena was surreal, and to lift the trophy was incredible!
My Greatest Challenge:
My greatest challenge was sustaining a stress-fracture a month before the first lockdown, this resulted in months of individual rehab away from any facilities and medical professionals that I otherwise would have had access to at my university. I spent hours in my small makeshift garage gym and managed to get myself stronger and fitter than I ever had been.
My Hobbies:
Outside of Netball I love spending time outside, catching up with friends in coffee shops, and going for walks while listening to a podcast. I also like to get involved at my local church, particularly with the youth work.
My Future Aspirations:
This year I have moved to a new Superleague team, London Mavericks. Our big aim is to make the finals series by finishing the league in the top four. This year the Superleague is going to be bigger and better than ever before, with our home games being played at Wembley Arena. I can’t wait to get out in front of bigger crowds and see what we can achieve as a team.
