I first realised I wanted to be an athlete when I was 10 years old after my Grandad took me to a sports hall athletics competition. I have always been super competitive and from a young age I've always been focused on winning and being the best I can possibly be. Although, the event I now specialise in is the heptathlon, this wasn't always the case. I started off as a sprinter doing mainly 200m and I also occasionally did long jump. After moving to a different club, Birchfield Harriers, I started training with a new coach and decided to...

I have always been in sport from a very young age. I did athletics as a junior for a period of time mostly multi events before I went into 7 or so years playing Lacrosse for England where I played at Home Internationals. From then Age 21/22, at University I took a small break from serious sport and went to playing netball at university, captaining my 1st team there. After a while, I realised it wasn’t enough for me to just play sport as a hobby, I needed the buzz of big competition back so went back to the track...

I first found my love for athletics when I took part in Wolverhampton Regional Schools cross country Championships in Year 6, where I won and then got scouted to join my local club which was Wolverhampton & Bilston AC at the time. Throughout my first few years of taking part in this sport I enjoyed doing cross country and 800m. A few years later into the sport, I got approached by a coach from Birchfield Harriers where he thought I had talent, so I went down to the club for some training sessions and I eventually ended up moving clubs...

I’m a 23 year old Great Britain sprinter, who competes in the 100m and 200m; I originate from an athletics club called Birchfield harriers. I started athletics from the age of 9 years old and have never looked back since I attended my first academy session with Birchfield Harriers athletics club. I started competing from the age of 10 but started competing nationally from the age of 15 at the age group England championships and English schools championships, where I represented West Midlands. I wasn’t very confident in how good I was and didn’t take my journey in athletics seriously...

I started sport as a footballer playing for West Bromwich Albion under 12's primary school. As soon as I started high school I went on a school athletics competition then got scouted because I finished first in all my events and noticed I was very quick for his age. From the age of 13/14, I took up the pentathlon which consists of 5 events (LJ,HJ,SH,SP,800M). That's when I gained my first international title indoors on Glasgow. At the age of 14 I took up the long jump a long side with the high jump. I'm the first British boy in...

When I was younger, I was a massive football fan. I watched it all the time with my brothers. One day I saw a player score a goal and do a somersault to celebrate, I thought to myself; wow, I wish I could do that. The next few weeks I drove my mum crazy cartwheeling and being upside down in the house so she took me to a gymnastics club, red bridge gymnastics club I was aged 6. The club talent identified me and told me to more to a better facilitated club called east London, I was here for...
