Bio
How I Started:
None of my family are military, I just seen the falklands, wanted to be a part of something in the uniform. I was an apprentice electirican, became qualified but I wanted something more, for a bried period I joined the parachute regiment, due to an injury I got transferred to another regiment, Royal regiment of fusiliers. And that is where I stayed until I finished in 2001.
My Greatest Achievement:
Passing my junior NCO course and junior Brecon, and leading men who became good friends! Aspiring to my mentors in the past!
My Greatest Challenge:
Adjusting to civilian life, no help when I left was available. It’s very hard going back into the electrician work and people not understanding how you’re feeling. Being spoken to inappropriate manner when readjusting. Found it a struggle to speak about my feelings. Joining a mentoring group which has allowed me to open out. Now im able to apply positive and cons across all different aspects. I became a security instructor, to try and make a difference in industry!
My Hobbies:
Heavily into martial arts, I boxed for my company in the army. I love the outdoors, hill walking, I also refurbished a 31 year old motorhome, with a full coach next up which will be documented!
My Future Aspirations:
Refurbish the coach to live off grid in the coming year and travel the world! To try and inspire the younger generation there is a way you can achieve your goals!
