Bio
How I Started:
I started Wrestling because my grandad used to Wrestle many years ago and I felt it was my responsibility to finish off what he had started, which I started at the age of 8 after I tried many other sports but I found Wrestling to be the most physically and Mentally demanding and I fell in love with the hardships and the culture of the sport from the get-go. Doing Wrestling taught me how to overcome my fears and how to keep pushing through when things got tough.
My Greatest Achievement:
My greatest achievement was my 5th place at the Under17 World & European Championships, I am also 6x English Champions and 7x British Champion in age category. I am also the first and only British Wrestler to wrestle in Bundesliga 1 in Germany which is perhaps the toughest and hardest Wrestling league in the world.
My Greatest Challenge:
I believe the hardest part about being a Wrestler is the sacrifices you must make in order to become one of the best, for example you have to undergo extremely strict diets weather if that’s cutting weight for a competition or gaining. Also training is 10-14 times a week and commuting approximately 400 miles on a weekly bases for training.
My Hobbies:
Outside of Wrestling, I do a lot of Mountain biking as I live in the Yorkshire countryside where there are many great tracks, I also have a grade 2 in Violin and I can also play the Piano as well. I also like reading manga and watching Anime and playing on my PlayStation if I have any spare time.
My Future Aspirations:
My biggest goal is to become an Olympic Champion hopefully in 2028 in LA, however, if I don’t make it in 2028 I will keep trying and persevering until I reach my dream. I would also like to inspire people to chase their dreams no matter where they come from or what other’s might say. I truly believe that you have to work hard towards your dream and you shouldn’t let anyone tell you that you can’t achieve your dream no matter how big or how small.
