How I started
I have been swimming since I was an infant and continued swimming through school as it was part of my curriculum, but through the lessons in school I began club swimming and competing at the age of 9 and ended up winning the Derbyshire County Championships and ended up seeing through my training each evening after school. My Greatest Achievement
My greatest achievement is achieving a Commonwealth Games silver medal and breaking my own British record for 50m Breaststroke. Coming up to the Commonwealth Games I had been honing my skills and perfecting my race psychology and making that when I got to the Commonwealth Games I would be able to enjoy it and almost leave the training behind in a sense.I remember being handed the board with the time and knowing that I had broken not only my own British breaststroke record but also improved on my personal best time too! I remember stepping onto the podium knowing my family were in the stands watching me compete and even after the race my dad gave an interview.
