How I Started:
I started with Gymnastics when I was two years old, I also tried swimming, Netball, and horse riding. My dad became a coach at the local athletics club and so I joined as soon as I was old enough to, and began trying the athletics disciplines. At one point I had to choose between athletics and all the other sports I enjoyed partaking in too. At the U15 level I chose athletics as my main sport and then focussed more in on Cross Country running and then at U17 I moved into my dad’s training group which was a Heptathlon, which favoured my attributes, but then after I moved to University I ruptured my Achilles which put me out of competition for a year and half so I focussed my attention more on the sprinting side and build my confidence back, which has ended up going better as expected. My Greatest Achievement:
My greatest achievement is qualifying for the Olympic Trials in 2024. Just before this I was out of competing with my achilles injury, but after the injury I decided to pivot towards focussing on Sprinting, and in the British University Championships I ran an Olympic Trials qualifying time!In 2025 I ran the qualifying time for the U23 European Championships and made it onto a few ‘Ones to watch’ lists by the likes of Trackside UK.
