Bio
How I started:
I originally started with dancing, gymnastics, and football all at the same time. I lived with my mum and sister, we both did all of these sports and it became a bit much to keep up with around 6 years old and my mum asked us both what we wanted to carry on with, and we both picked football! I joined the Mapplewell Mavericks and started training alongside all of the boys as there wasn’t a girls’ team to join at the time!
My Greatest Achievement:
My greatest achievement to date is scoring my first senior goal on my league debut, it was an amazing feeling as I wasn’t expecting to score it! This was the equaliser in the match and I had my family in the stands watching, so there was a lot of pressure. But I kept myself in my routine and kept my cool, and came away with a goal!
My Greatest Challenge:
My greatest challenge was when I was 17 coming into the first team at Sheffield United, and I tore the ligaments in my ankle which needed surgery. With it being my first season, it was quite difficult, especially because I had injured it outside of the club at college, and it was towards the end of the season so during the off-season I was in every other day recovering. Thankfully there was one other girl with me rehabilitating so I did have some company!
My Hobbies:
Outside of football, I enjoy listening to music and spending time with my friends and family!
My Future Aspirations:
In the future I am looking to play at the highest level possible, and I also love travelling, so another goal is to travel a lot of the world whether that’s playing football or outside of it!
