Bio
How I Started:
I left school at the age of 17 and quickly chose a path of service, enlisting in the British Army within a month. I began my military career in the Junior Leaders program, a demanding 12-month foundation designed to develop discipline, leadership, and core soldiering skills before formal enlistment at 18.
Following this initial training, I joined the Royal Corps of Transport, where I undertook specialist driver training. During this period, I successfully qualified across multiple vehicle classes, earning licenses for motorbikes, cars, and heavy goods vehicles—skills that would become central to my operational role.
In 1988, I received my first operational posting to 5 Armoured Field Ambulance in Münster, Germany, where I spent two years supporting front-line medical and transport operations as part of the British Army of the Rhine.
Following my time in 5 Armoured, I was transferred to 8 Regiment Twelve Squadron Royal Corps Of Transport, I was then deployed to Saudi Arabia in support of coalition forces during the Gulf War in 1990. This next phase moved me from preparation into active operational service in a conflict zone, contributing to vital logistical and transport efforts under challenging conditions.
My Greatest Achievement:
My greatest achievement was earning the opportunity to serve and fight for my country at the age of 18. At an age when many are still discovering direction, I chose a path of discipline, responsibility, and sacrifice. That experience demanded mental toughness, courage under pressure, teamwork, and the ability to perform in high-stakes environments. It shaped my character, strengthened my resilience, and gave me a lifelong respect for service, leadership, and commitment to others.
My Greatest Challenge:
My greatest challenge was readjusting to civilian life after serving my country. Leaving a structured environment where discipline, purpose, and camaraderie were part of everyday life and stepping back into civilian society was far harder than I expected. In service, there is clarity of mission, strong bonds, and a clear sense of identity. Outside of that world, I had to rebuild routine, rediscover direction, and find where I belonged again.
My Hobbies:
My Hobbies including watching Rugby League, Hiking all over the UK and I am currently completing the Wainwrights of which there are 214 fells & Mountains in the Lake Distract where I have completed 110 to date. I also enjoy Djing and listening to music while also reading and listening to lots of Podcasts for self-development
My Future Aspirations:
Firstly, my main goal is spreading a positive message and following that my goals are to grow my coaching business and to help as many people as I possibly can understand the power of the mind and our ability to change the beliefs that we hold can free us and make our lives better every day. I want to help the younger generation by inspiring them to understand that anything is possible with the right mindset.
