How I Started:
From an early age, I demonstrated a strong passion for sport, engaging in a wide range of activities that helped build a well-rounded athletic foundation. Throughout my development, I was particularly drawn to tennis, which became my primary focus. I committed to regular training and competition, developing key attributes such as discipline, agility, and mental resilience. While studying at university, I continued to compete in tennis alongside my academic commitments, maintaining a high level of performance and dedication. In 2016, I took part in a national talent identification programme, seeking to challenge myself and explore new athletic opportunities.
Following a series of physical and performance assessments, I was selected for the British Skeleton programme. This marked a pivotal transition in my sporting career, shifting from a technical, skill-based sport into a high-performance, speed and power discipline. Leveraging my athletic background, I successfully adapted to the demands of skeleton, demonstrating strong physical capability, coachability, and a commitment to progression within an elite training environment.
My Greatest Achievement:
I have competed at the highest levels of skeleton, achieving a range of notable successes on the international stage. At the Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games 2026, I finished 9th, representing my country among the world’s elite athletes.
I have also secured gold medals in both the World Cup and Team World Cup, demonstrating consistency and peak performance under pressure. Additionally, I have earned podium finishes at the European Championships, taking silver in European Championships 2025 and bronze in European Championships 2024, reflecting my progression and dedication within the sport.
My Greatest Challenge:
My greatest challenge in sport has been overcoming multiple significant injury setbacks, which tested both my physical resilience and mental strength. Over the course of just a year and a half, I had to undergo three major surgeries, each requiring a lengthy and demanding rehabilitation process. These injuries not only interrupted my training and competition schedule but also forced me to confront the uncertainty of my athletic future.Navigating this period required immense determination, discipline, and patience, as I had to rebuild my strength, technique, and confidence from the ground up each time. The experience taught me to manage setbacks with a positive mindset, maintain focus on long-term goals, and adapt my approach to training and recovery. Emerging from this challenging period reinforced my resilience and mental toughness, qualities that have become central to my
