Bio
How I Started:
I started playing cricket in the garden with my older brother when I was 11 years old. I then joined my local club and played in the new women’s team. A few months later I got picked for the U13 girls’ county team.
My Greatest Achievement:
As well as scoring an international 100, I was the first player, male or female, to score 1,000 international runs for Germany. I was also the first captain of Germany in an official international match.
My Greatest Challenge:
My greatest challenge was experiencing panic attacks and anxiety before international cricket matches. This was because of the pressure I put on myself to perform. Luckily, I had a very supportive team and coaching staff who helped me to deal with this.
My Hobbies:
I am a huge football fan and still play football when I have time. I also love travelling and exploring new cultures and food. I love playing video games to relax.
My Future Aspirations:
I would love to stay involved in cricket, developing the women’s game in the UK and abroad. I want to help develop the next generation of female cricketers. I also want to continue exploring opportunities in cricket broadcasting.
