Bio
How I Started:
I started playing tennis when I was 4 years old. My mum’s side of the family had a tennis background and I fell in love with the game as soon as I was given a racket! I began playing at a local club and started competing a year later at small competitions and then began taking it seriously around eight years old.
My Greatest Achievement:
My greatest achievement is winning the ITF Junior singles title in Belfast in 2022. This was my first singles title abroad. I was very happy to win as ITF singles are some of the hardest tournaments in the junior age group. I remember going into the tournament believing I could win, but I always take it match by match as I progress through a tournament as it is important to focus on each round.
My Greatest Challenge:
My greatest challenge is the financial element of training, competing and travelling. I always reinvest anything that I earn back into my game. I’m very fortunate to have racket and clothing sponsors and this is a huge help.
My Hobbies:
Outside of tennis I love watching films/TV, creative writing and spending time with my friends, family and cats.
My Future Aspirations:
I am now competing on the ITF pro circuit and working towards my WTA ranking. I would like to travel to many different tournaments and experience new places and meet new people! My big goal is to compete at Wimbledon and play the other grand slams and have a successful pro career.
