How I Started
I started athletics in school after a teacher recognised my skills in PE and sports day. I started traning after school, and eventually began competing in athletics competitions regionally and nationally! I enjoyed it so much I began to dedicate my all to it, my passion only grew bigger from there. I first represented Scotland in 2006 at the School’s International and then at the inaugural UK School Games in Glasgow the same year where I set a new Scottish record while also winning the gold medal. After that, in 2008, I then broke the under 20 Scottish record.
My Greatest Achievement
My greatest achievement is undoubtedly appearing in the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games, performing in front of my home crowd was an experience I will never forget, the atmosphere was fantastic, and I couldn’t get over the roar of the crowd, it was immense!
My Hobbies
In my free time I enjoy cooking and keeping myself fit and ready for the next tournament! I love cooking a wide range of different meals, but I will always find myself coming back to the classic Sunday roast!
