Bio
How I Started:
I started gymnastics when I attended summer camp when I was 8 years old with a friend who was already attending the gym, I enjoyed it that much I asked my mum to sign me up. At this point, my friend was doing acrobatic gymnastics so that’s what I thought I would be doing as well however she signed me up for artistic gymnastics and I loved it even more.
My Greatest Achievement:
My Greatest achievement was winning the Northen European Championships individual & team titles this year in (2025) in Leicester. I had gone into the competition with a personal aim of coming in the top 10 and had never expected that I could have walked away with the Gold. All the other girls there were amazing including our very strong England team and so to win together made it even better.
My Greatest Challenge:
My Greatest challenge came in 2021 when I narrowly missed out on qualifying for the British Championships two-times in the space of 2 weeks, this challenged me mentally and required me to dig deep and rely on my resilience to push be forwards and look ahead to the next competition, with the help and support from my coaches and family I was then able to use this experience to learn and improve enabling me to qualify the following year.
My Hobbies:
Outside of the gym, I enjoy spending time with my friends whether it be going out for a meal or seeing a movie, it enables me to switch off and value the person I am outside of the gym. I am also attending university to give my future self the best possible opportunities once my gymnastics career has finished. I have an adorable dog who loves going for long walks in the countryside and playing in mud (but he hates the baths that follow)
My Future Aspirations:
I would love to be selected to represent Great Britain at more future internationals. Following on from my first experience I had never realised how much joy & excitement could come from such a big competition. There is nothing quite like wearing your nations flag on your arm and I would love the opportunity to wear it with pride again.
