Bio
How I Started:
My dad began as a coach, and I used to spend a lot of time watching him train and support his players. Seeing the dedication and excitement around competitions really inspired me. When his players started winning medals, I remember thinking that I wanted to achieve something like that myself. That motivation stayed with me, and I started playing at the age of seven. From the very beginning, I enjoyed the challenge of improving and pushing myself to get better.
My Greatest Achievement:
One of my proudest achievements so far is becoming English National Champion in 2026. Before that, I reached the English National finals in both 2025 and 2024, which helped me build confidence and experience at a high level. I also won the Spanish FS and earned a medal at the Mixed Team Championships, where we competed against very strong opponents, including a player who had previously been ranked 30 in the world. Each of these moments has been important in helping me grow as an athlete.
My Greatest Challenge:
One of the biggest challenges I have faced has been injury. I have sprained my ankle three times, and each time it meant stepping away from training and competition to focus on recovery. Rehab can be frustrating and requires a lot of patience, especially when you are eager to get back to your best level. Learning to stay positive, trust the process, and rebuild strength gradually taught me a lot about resilience and determination.
My Hobbies:
Outside of my sport, I really enjoy reading. I tend to gravitate towards romance, fantasy, and thriller novels, and I find reading a great way to relax and switch off. I also enjoy a bit of retail therapy from time to time and love spending time with my friends, whether that is going out, catching up, or just having a laugh together.
My Future Aspirations:
Looking ahead, my main goal is to compete at the 2028 Olympic Games. I also want to compete and win medals in the World Tour series and at the World Championships, continuing to improve my performance year by year. Another important aim for me is to keep increasing my world ranking and challenging myself against the very best athletes in the sport.
