Bio
How I Started
I started in a pre-school class before moving forward to a gymnastic club at the age of 4. At the age of 7 I began Tumbling after being spotted by one of the coaches who thought I would be better suited to the Tumbling discipline.
My Greatest Achievement
My greatest achievement is winning an individual gold medal at the FIG Senior Gymnastics Championships in the individual tumbling. Returning back from the long break that covid had given us, I went into the championships hoping to complete both passes in the pre-lims and finals, but after the pre-lims I was happy because I had gotten through cleanly and I was looking to the final to give it my all and hope for the best.
My Greatest Challenge
My greatest challenge was tearing my calf at the World Games in July. After this I had to recover with the aim of being fully fit for the World Championships in November. I lost a lot of my motivation as I was bed-ridden for three weeks following the injury! Once I was feeling well enough to be mobile I started the recovery process by sampling practicing to point my toes!
My Hobbies
Outside of training I enjoy reading, I enjoy reading a lot of fictional books, and a lot of athlete biographies and autobiographies!
My Future goals
In the future I am hoping to make the 2023 Birmingham world Championships team, and I am considering attempting to qualify for a second World Games in China!
