Bio
How I started:
I first got into Basketball after watching one of my favourite movies, Like Mike. I also saw my brother start playing at the local leisure centre growing up. I was watching and imitating on thew sidelines until the age of five at a Saturday club, and then around two years later I moved to a proper club and then began competing in the U14’s & U13’s national league two years later.
My Greatest Achievement:
My greatest achievement is playing in the EYBL Superfinal in 2019. This is a European college league that some of the top clubs compete in at the end of the season! You play through the tournament and then top four teams go through to the Superfinal. I remember being excited, and feeling quite accomplished! I am also extremely proud of representing England at the age of 15.
My Greatest Challenge:
My greatest challenge was getting my career back on track after covid, and staying motivated throughout the lockdowns. I had just got my first pro contract in Italy, but then had to fly back shortly after because of course Italy was impacted quite badly by the pandemic. Throughout the season I didn’t play I worked at a special needs school and used their sports hall to train with ym brother, after around a year and a half I reached out to Bristol Flyers and thankfully they had a spot for me and I rejoined!
My Hobbies:
Outside of Basketball I practice my faith, and try to live through god in my daily life. I am also interested in entrepreneurship and run a vending machine business when I’m not on the court!
My Future Aspirations:
In the future I hope to do a lot more mentoring in schools after I graduate, and I also hope to bring some silverware to Bristol Flyers as I have been a lifelong fan of the team.
